Karen Anderson has over 20 years experience in the social care sector including residential care with adults with learning disabilities and also elderly persons and is a previous Registered Home Manager. A qualified, practicing Assessor and Verifier for over 10 years, Karen is also a Qualified Teacher in Learning and Skills and regularly delivers workshops across a variety of social care subjects.
Lynda Beddow has over 25 years experience of working in the health and social care sector along with a nursing background. She worked as a Deputy Home Manager for older people for 14 years and completed Assessor and Internal Verifier training to ensure her staff team met required standards.
Lynda is a qualified First Aid Trainer for Adults and Children and has also completed Management NVQ 5 along with the Registered Managers Award and Care Level 4. Lynda is an experienced trainer and devises and facilitates knowledge workshops for the Leadership and Management Award.
Each of T.E.T.S. Ltd's trainers are professionally competent in the subject and have experience of working in a social care service. They are DBS checked and are bound by a strict confidentiality clause. Trainers ensure their subject knowledge is current through their committment to the organisations continuous professional development programme They appreciate the need for training for carers to be flexible and delivered in a variety of formats in locations close to their work. In addition, it needs to be provided at times which meet the needs of both carers and service users and therefore works around the constraints of carer's shifts and personal committments.
